As a regionally important port, Frisov has grown considerably in recent decades thanks to refugees from Paavi, settled Nivesians and all kinds of fortune hunters - and yet it still seems like a sleepy little place. The long-established inhabitants live in log cabins and huts, newcomers often live in dirty barracks, Nivesians do without their traditional tents. Almost all inhabitants live from trade or hunting: fishermen, sailors, whalers, hunters, amber collectors.
