Gerasim is located at the confluence of the Oblomon and Selserbrook rivers. The settlement was founded when refugees from Bornland were taken in by elves. To this day, about half of the residents are forest elves, so that the coexistence is characterized by the elven worldview and way of life. Large parts of the town are therefore located in the forest and blend organically into the existing vegetation. Gerasim is very different from the other cities in Aventuria, as it is a mixture of wood elf and human architecture. The city was designed in such a way that no trees had to be felled when the human houses were built. In the middle of the settlement there is a clearing where the <i>Forest Rest</i> inn is located.
