The most important commodity of Kalifat is salt, which is mined in Lake Cichanebi near Unau and then transported by caravan to Kannemünde. From there, it is shipped further, primarily to the north, where the merchants of Festum are already awaiting the precious goods. The trade in “white gold” is so profitable that representatives of almost all of Aventuria’s major trading houses have settled in Kannemünde.
