Mokosha is considered to be a daughter of Hesinde and Ingerimm. However, for some Norbardic clans, especially those who have settled down, Peraine takes on the role of Hesinde. There Mokosha increasingly takes on the aspect of Peraine’s helper and represents blooming and thriving. Without the hard-working helpers of the goddess Mokosha, the bee, no plants would be fertilized and therefore no harvest would be successful.
