Anyone owning a weapon not used for the protection of their person is hereby ordered to turn said weapon in for appropriate restitution at the guard house at Eydal Bridge within the week to provide adequate armaments for the town guards. Ownership of more than a single weapon for personal protection is prohibited. Ownership of unauthorized weaponry will be punished with a fine or, in extreme cases, with a jail sentence.
