The golden eye is actually greenish, because it is an emerald lens enchanted with geode magic. It is called ‘golden’ only because looking through this lens allows you to detect precious metals deep inside the rock. It used to belong to the dwarfish clan of Aboralm, and it made them the wealthiest dwarf clan. But now the artifact is lost.
