Elves
The marks of the elves are slender growth, pointed ears, slanting oversized eyes of most wondrous colors like amethyst and ruby, long straight hair and amazing agility. Their natural, subtle senses are enhanced by her magic.Elves can fall into deep dream sleep, but also get along sleeplessly for a long time, if they do not have to exert themselves excessively. Elves remain young looking regardless of their age. Once they reach their life goal they pass away according to their own will. They are not affected by many diseases. Elves hate fermented products such as alcohol and cheese.Elves are very peaceful and reject the greed of other races and call it badoc. They have a downright magical attachment to the clan and basically follow only natural authority, which can emanate from hunting, work, customs and leisure of different people. They use their magic with great naturalness, they have mystical relationships with their iama instrument and their spiritual animal. The origin of the elves lies in the World of Light, their home territory is located in the vast forests of Salamander stones. In Aventuria live about 12,000 glade elves, of which 3,500 in human settlements, as well as 500 steppe elves, 6,000 wood elves, including 1,000 in human settlements, and 2,000 ice elves. Half-elves only spring from the union of elven women and human men. With the talar (rose-ears, humans) and the boroborinoi (beard-murmlers, dwarfs) they hold peace today. The fialgra (wild furs, orcs) and the gobianoi (red squirrels, goblins) are hereditary enemies, and the "unspeakable" lizardfolk in the south avoid the elves superstitiously.Elves' language, the lsdira, can be mastered very imperfectly by non-elves, as it is spoken in two voices.Wood ElvesWood Elves typically dress in wild hunting shirts adorned with feathers, teeth, claws and fur, elven boots, tight trousers or loincloth and sleeveless coats. The costume also includes the belt jewelery and the short horn bow. The dwellings of the wood elves - nest, pile dwelling, castle, tree house, bridge work in one - are usually formed from living and green wood and are inserted "symbiotically" into the surrounding flora. The otherwise peaceful and serene wood elves present themselves to their opponents as angry, wild-woodland creatures when it comes to defending their trawyar.Wood elves use forest trails and waterways with boats made of living wood. They follow the harmony of hunting with bow and arrow, net, noose and spear and collecting fruits, berries, shoots, herbs, mushrooms and juices, using their magic to turn immature or inedible plants into food. Milk, bread, sugar and beer are alien to the wood elves, salt is considered precious. Full equality often makes it difficult to distinguish between the genders.Lea ElvesThe lea elves are the most resilient among this freedom-loving folk. Their green stilt houses can be found in the taiga, where they live as collectors, hunters, fishermen and divers, but also in the meadows of Garetia and Almada, where the elf villages are usually subordinated only to the sovereign and of fruit growing, crafts (especially carving, building plucking) and in the cities, where they are often archers, furriers, teachers, healers, bards, jugglers and thieves, they create strange buildings. Typical clothing is a shirt, tight trousers and cape made of embroidered cotton, as well as jewelry for hair and ears and belts, common short-bowed weapons and slender stitches from the dagger to the sword.Steppe ElvesThe steppe elves, who call themselves the "children of the wind", are closely related to the lea elves. They live as semi-nomadic rider folk in Unicorn-grass and Green Plain, on both sides of the Salamanderstones' forests as well as in the tundra between Frisund and Letta. There is a magical bond between them and little white ponies.Ice ElvesThe ice elves live in the Grimmfrost wasteland, along the Brecheis and the Amber Bay, on the Bear Islands and in the Misty Peaks. Their life is characterized by permafrost, northern lights, Firun's breath and animalistic ferocity. Having escaped the delusion of their high elven ancestors into the ice desert, they believe exclusively in communion, fear the demoness Pardona, and are utterly resentful of gods. They wear white furs and feathers, typically the cuffs and double gloves and a black amulet. They hunt every animal, whether fish, seal, sea calf, bear, shark or whale, with net and fish traps, fishing rod and spear, chopper, skewer, bow and seal slayer made from bone or crystal. Their magic takes them over ice and water and lets them build ice boats and magical bridges. They do not know blacksmithing, hardly any fuel and hardly any tools worth mentioning, but they are masters of skinning. Their ice palaces are not hospitable. They treat strangers peacefully but try to get rid of them as quickly as possible.Spreading: North Aventuria, Salamander Stones (lea elves), Salamander Forest (wood elves), Green Plains (steppe elves), High North (ice elves)Culture Bonuses: lea elves WD+1, wood elves AG+1, ice elves IN+1
